Upgrading CySight

Please request the Upgrade script from support@cysight.ai and please quote your LicenseID. Access to Upgrades are restricted to customers under maintenance only.
Additional licensing controls were introduced in version 8 and a new license key will be required when upgrading. Depending on your version Maintenance license keys are also required to upgrade.
Please send us information on your current deployment including operating system environment as well as your current License ID found under Configuration>Administrator>License

If you are upgrading from a pre version 8.x.x we recommend that you contact us for assistance as your current version of mysql may require manual upgrade.

Some older versions will require a full backup and re-installation and restore to upgrade all 3rd Party configurations. If you are unsure let us help you check.

We recommend you plan your upgrade with access to our support in mind.
Its always good practice to backup before you upgrade.

Please note that Browsers retain a lot of information such as javascripts and formatting in cache that can effect system behavior if not cleaned.

Upgrade CySight on Windows.

1. Login the CySight system using Remote Desktop;
Use Administrator user;

2. Create a local directory and download the Upgrade script;

eg create c:\DigiToll\cysight\vA.B.C
Where A = Major Version, B = Release, C = Patch Number

Put the Upgrade script into the created sub-directory and run:
CySight_Upgrade_vA.B.C.exe

3. Wait for the upgrade processes to finish completely. CySight shuts down nicely to ensure the least possible data loss and the steps to upgrading can take longer if you have an older version.
